I am a proud mom of an incoming freshman and a \u00a0Leland alum (graduated 2022). \u00a0I have 15+ years of accounting experience, and I am currently the Assistant Controller at a San Jose based construction company.\u00a0 I am eager to contribute to the continued success of our athletics community as I strive to maintain\u00a0the financial integrity and transparency of our club. I am a proud Leland mom with a daughter who is a two sport Leland athlete and a son who is a recent graduate and was a three-sport athlete at Leland.\u00a0\u00a0 I served on the Bret Harte Booster Club board for several years and have enjoyed volunteering with various Leland sports.\u00a0 My husband Mike can also be found at Leland coaching field hockey, keeping score at basketball games and even occasionally doing the announcing.\u00a0\u00a0 I’m excited to now be part of the Leland Booster Club Board and I enjoy getting athletic news out to the Leland community through social media.<\/p>\n

I am a California native and moved to the Bay Area in 2006. In 2011, my husband and I settled in Almaden with our two children. Our daughter graduated from Leland in 2021 and we have a son who is currently a charger, graduating in 2024. I have served as a volunteer at\u00a0Simonds, Castillero, Bret Harte and Leland for the past 11 years. I have a BA and MA in Child Development so volunteering in the classroom, chairing large school fundraisers and sitting on the booster board is a great fit for me. I am excited to be a part of the Leland community and look forward to bringing more awareness to our organization.<\/p>\n

I am a proud Leland mom of my\u00a0junior daughter, who was a part\u00a0of the cross-country and swimming team as a sophomore. This is my third year with the Leland Booster Club and I\u2019m excited to be part of the Leland Booster Club\u00a0<\/span>board<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and support our school in all the ways.\u00a0I greatly enjoy communicating with the Almaden community and local businesses to fundraise\u00a0and host events.\u00a0In my free time, I enjoy walking and\u00a0hiking. I am a tech geek with 30 years in the Software industry. I was part of initial team of volunteer teachers and  taught the founding class of Intro to CS at Leland<\/span> in 2014. I have also tutored AP CS to many high school students, who got admitted to CS programs at top US colleges. I currently work as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning expert, and help customers with adoption of AI\/ML technologies.<\/p>\n

I am excited to be Technology Advisor for the Leland<\/span> Booster<\/span> club and mentor students working on apps including website, inventory management and fund raising apps.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I am a proud parent of a Leland Senior (Class of \u201925), who is involved in both the water polo and soccer teams, and a freshman (Class of \u201928) who is part of the water polo team. I\u2019ve lived in Almaden for over 10 years and enjoy traveling and crocheting in my free time. As a Booster Club board member for over a year, I\u2019m excited to be part of this amazing team supporting Leland sports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
